I've noticed in Google Reader that most of your old posts are available if you subscribe to http://www.rhastings.net/feed/ .. I haven't seen a way to dump them to a file to make processing easy(ier), though I notice I can email a post to myself and get the HTML from the email. If you have no other record of the posts and don't mind tedium (or can figure out a good way to script the whole process), it looks like they might be at least partly salvageable.

(wish i could say the same for mine; i completely blew away the database to one of my blogs several months ago; managed to find some, but not all, via Google searching. Just haven't taken the time to recreate from the search results. Yuck.)
